Phenomenon: 

When you install Appeon product, you run into the error which includes the serial number like {B24B7A85-A001-4687-BFF4-B85657C111EF}.

Here we will take Appeon Developer related  error for example (the Error Message is attached).

Solution:

Please follow the steps below to clear up the components from the machine before you proceed with Appeon product installation.

1. Download and run the msicuu2.exe as attached to install Windows Install Clean Up.

2. After that, go to Start->All Programes->Windows Install Clean Up to open the Windows Install Clean Up window.

4. Select the "Appeon Developer 2013" in the Installed Products list and Remove it (see the attached Windows Install Clean Up file, please note that the removed component is the one that throws the error).

5. Remove the regisger key below on your machine.

For 32-bit OS: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Appeon\APB\6.6\ADT

For 64-bit OS: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Appeon\APB\6.6\ADT

6. Re-install the Appeon product.
