Symptom
After installing the latest Microsoft OLE DB Driver 19.0.0 for SQL Server to the client, PowerBuilder fails to connect to the database with MSOLEDBSQL and gives the following error:
Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server (MSOLEDBSQL) is not installed.

PowerBuilder 2019 R3
PowerBuilder 2021
Cause
The changes in the Microsoft OLE DB Driver 19.0.0 for SQL Server released in February 16, 2022, compared to the previous 18.* versions, are not yet compatible with the currently available PowerBuilder versions.
Resolution
Microsoft OLE DB Driver 19.0.0 will be supported in PowerBuilder 2022. Before it's released, please use the following workaround:
Install a previous version of Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server to the client, such as version 18.6.3.
